Amsterdam dance music festival returns after pandemic restrictions
Dance music festival Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has started hosting post-pandemic events after the Dutch government lifted restrictions on the entertainment sector, as well as clubs, bars and discos. It also hosts a gathering where professionals from the dance music world meet to discuss the dance music business.
The Amsterdam Dance Event organization, in collaboration with Amsterdam’s clubs and festival organizers, has confirmed over 350 Festival and Arts & Culture events in 140+ locations since the decision to move forward with its programming last month.
With less than one week to go, ADE has completed its full program of daytime events, taking place from October 13th through 17th. The city’s venues and organizers have shown remarkable resilience in making this achievement possible, and the organization is looking forward to welcoming thousands of electronic music enthusiasts to Amsterdam.
The event has been scaled down compared to previous years, while measures are in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19, including on-site testing.
