Israeli Army Releases Video of Gaza Operations
The Israeli army released a video it said showed ground troops operating in Gaza and an aerial strike on what it said were Hamas targets.
According to the Israeli army the videos show troops "locating weapons in a university, eliminating armed militants and destroying infrastructure" by soldiers of the 99th Division who are operating in the area of the Central Gaza Strip Corridor.
It added that last night SSF Omer Smadga and Colonel Saadia Yaakov Dery, of the Alexandroni Brigade, were killed.
Mourners gathered in Khan Younis to bid farewell to their loved ones as they laid them to rest .
The Gaza health ministry said at least 25 Palestinians had been killed in Mawasi in western Rafah and 50 wounded. Palestinians said a tank shell had hit a tent housing displaced families.
The Israeli military said it was looking into the reported strikes on Mawasi and a separate incident in Gaza City.
It said its forces were conducting "precise, intelligence-based" actions in the Rafah area, where troops were involved in close-quarter combat and had located tunnels used by militants.
Hamas released footage of what they said was militants targeting an Israeli army base, vehicles and soldiers in Gaza city.
In the footage, mostly shot from the militants' point-of-view, rockets can be seen fired at what Hamas said was an Israeli army base. According to Hamas, an army helicopter evacuated casualties.
Hamas said via its official Telegram channel that footage shows the targeting of “enemy army base and soldiers and vehicles” in the Netzarim axis, east of Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, which killed two Israeli soldiers.
