Iran to help restore stability in Afghanistan
Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi says his country is ready to help restore stability in Afghanistan encouraging national consensus.
According to a report by Iran’s official news agency, IRNA, the President called security, stability, and prosperity the right of the Afghan people stressing that this would be the first step that should be taken. He also reiterated that, all groups need to engage in a national dialogue in order to reach a consensus.
Raisi has also stressed that Iran is committed to its neighborly relations with Afghanistan and is ready to help.
The military defeat and the US withdrawal from Afghanistan should become an opportunity to revive life, security, and lasting peace in the country, according to the top Iranian official.
