Emergency services are responding to a significant missile strike near Tel Aviv, following a large-scale barrage launched by Iran in retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites. In the Greater Tel Aviv area, at least 63 people were injured, including one woman who later died from her injuries. Emergency teams are conducting search and rescue operations, pulling survivors from collapsed buildings, with substantial damage reported in cities like Rishon Lezion and Ramat Gan.

Iran's missile assault, named "Operation Vow of Truth 3," involved approximately 150 ballistic missiles targeting various locations in Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. While Israel's air defense systems intercepted many missiles, several struck populated areas, resulting in civilian casualties and infrastructure damage. The missile strikes have disrupted daily life, prompting air raid sirens to sound across central Israel, with residents advised to seek shelter. The Israeli military has announced that the immediate threat has subsided, allowing citizens to leave shelters but urging continued vigilance.

This escalation has heightened regional tensions, with international leaders expressing concern over the potential for a broader conflict. Diplomatic efforts are underway to de-escalate the situation and prevent further hostilities. Video footage captured a projectile landing in Tel Aviv as emergency sirens alerted the population. Following Israel's largest military strike against Iran, explosions were reported in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

The Israeli military stated that Iran fired fewer than 100 missiles, most of which were intercepted or fell short. The U.S. military assisted in shooting down some Iranian missiles aimed at Israel.

Several buildings, including an apartment block in Ramat Gan and another in central Tel Aviv, were struck, causing significant damage.
