In a pivotal rally in Dwarka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to Delhi voters, seeking their support for a "double-engine government" while outlining ambitious development plans for the capital. Drawing parallels with the Sabarmati riverfront in Gujarat, Modi promised a similar transformation for the Yamuna River, alongside pledging clean water, pothole-free roads, and proper housing for Delhi's underprivileged.

Modi announced plans for Yashobhoomi and Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka, projecting the region as a future smart city hub for global tourism and business. He criticized both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, labeling them as "anti-poor" and "anti-adivasi," while particularly highlighting AAP's alleged failure to clean the Yamuna during their ten-year tenure.

The AAP swiftly responded, defending their "Delhi Model" and claiming it provides monthly benefits worth ₹25,000 per individual through various free services including electricity, water, healthcare, bus travel, and education. They criticized Modi for campaigning in Delhi instead of addressing the Maha Kumbh tragedy, which they attributed to the "double-engine government."

The political discourse intensified when Modi alleged behind-the-scenes collaboration between AAP and Congress against BJP. He also criticized Congress for allegedly disrespecting President Droupadi Murmu's parliamentary address, calling her speech "boring" and referring to her as a "poor thing."

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge countered these allegations, pointing out that the Modi government had excluded the President from both the new Parliament inauguration and Ram Temple ceremonies, asserting that respecting all citizens aligns with Congress's cultural values.

With the February 5 elections approaching, Modi urged voters to make it a "day of reckoning," promising transformative change in Delhi's development. He emphasized his successful national governance record, asking voters to give him a chance to replicate similar progress in the capital through BJP's leadership.
