Global petition seeks IAEA chief’s ouster

Global Call to Action: Demand the Resignation of Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA

We call on all individuals, civil society organizations, independent states, and members of the international community to unite in signing a formal request for the immediate resignation of Mr. Rafael Grossi from his position as Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Mr. Grossi has repeatedly demonstrated a concerning pattern of partiality, aligning the agency under his leadership with the political agendas of Western powers, thereby undermining the IAEA’s foundational principles of neutrality, transparency, and independence.

Most alarmingly, Mr. Grossi must be held accountable for his role—direct or indirect—in enabling the recent unprovoked and illegal attack by Israel on Iranian territory. Through the selective release and politicization of nuclear-related information, as well as a failure to condemn acts of aggression that violate international law and compromise regional stability, Mr. Grossi has contributed to a climate of escalation and conflict. His inaction and apparent bias have emboldened unlawful actions under the guise of nuclear oversight.

The credibility of the IAEA is at a critical crossroads. It cannot be led by an individual whose decisions are increasingly seen as politically motivated and whose silence in the face of international aggression casts doubt on his impartiality. The integrity of the global nuclear monitoring regime is at stake.

We demand leadership that is committed to objectivity and international law—leadership that represents all nations fairly and without political manipulation. For the sake of global peace, institutional credibility, and justice, Mr. Grossi must resign.
