The 15th edition of LAAD Defense & Security Fair, Latin America's largest defense and security exhibition, opened its doors on April 1, 2025, at the Riocentro Exhibition & Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro. The four-day event, running until April 4, brings together key players in the defense and security sectors from around the globe.

Over 400 brands from 28 countries are showcasing their latest products and innovations, ranging from weapons and technology to land and air vehicles. The exhibition serves as a comprehensive platform for various sectors including the Navy, Army, Air Force, Public Security, and Corporate Security.

Motorola, among other major exhibitors, has established a significant presence at the event. Jeremiah Nelson, Corporate Vice President for Motorola, emphasized their full-force participation and demonstration of their latest technology.

The event features the Program of Official Delegations, bringing together defense and security authorities from Brazil, Latin America, and other regions. Additionally, the fair includes parallel events such as the IX Security Seminar and the International Symposium on Military Logistics, providing forums for discussing current trends and challenges in the sector.

This year's exhibition builds on the success of the 2023 edition, which attracted 36,700 qualified visitors, 192 official delegations, 362 exhibiting brands, and 420 public security authorities. The event continues to serve as a crucial platform for fostering collaboration and showcasing innovations in defense and security across Latin America and beyond.
