Iran unveils Gaza drone during military drills

The Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has unveiled a super-heavy drone, named Gaza.
The drone was unveiled during a large-scale military exercise -- code-named Great Prophet Authority. The Gaza drone has a wingspan of 22 meters and a takeoff weight of 3,100 kilograms. The drone has a flight endurance of 35 hours and a flight speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
The payload capacity of the Gaza drone is at least 500 kilograms, allowing it to carry up to 13 bombs. It has a range of 1,000 kilometers and an operational radius of 4,000 kilometers.
In a combined operation carried out on the sidelines of the military drill, the IRGC Aerospace Force successfully destroyed eight targets precisely using the Gaza drone for the first time.
Commander of the IRGC Navy Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri said that sophisticated homegrown drones operated by his elite force have launched missiles featuring artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities during the major naval drill underway in the Persian Gulf.
He noted that IRGC technicians have furnished multirole Mohajer-6 ISTAR unmanned aerial vehicles and Ababil-5 combat drones with a new version of Qaem and Almas precision-guided missiles that incorporate artificial intelligence features to strike designated targets.
The naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps have fired missiles equipped with artificial intelligence, destroying mock enemy targets successfully.
The IRGC Navy’s successful performance comes on the final day of a large-scale exercise -- code-named "Great Prophet Authority 19" -- spanning the southern Iranian provinces of Bushehr and Khuzestan’s littoral waters.
The Qaem and Almas missiles equipped with artificial intelligence were fired by advanced Mohajer 6 and Ababil 5 drones.
The Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces, have vowed to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of threats posed by the Iranian nation’s enemies.
