The wedding was part of a three-day celebration with guests accommodated in luxury hotels throughout Venice. Sánchez arrived at the venue in a cream Dior set and later revealed her wedding dress on Instagram, showcasing its high neckline, button details, and mermaid skirt. Bezos wore a traditional Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo. The couple's relationship became public in January 2019, shortly after Bezos's divorce from MacKenzie Scott, and they made their first public appearance together in July 2019. Reports of their engagement surfaced in May 2023.
