Vuelta stage in Pyrenees abandoned
A torrential hailstorm forced the abandonment of the third stage of the Vuelta a España cycling race in the French Pyrenees. Despite the dramatic halt, general classification standings remained unchanged from the previous stage. Tadej Pogacar retained his overall lead, with Wout van Aert and Matthew Brennan second and third, respectively.Abandoning a stage due to weather conditions is rare in professional cycling.
