Infantino's visit was marked by his tribute to the first responders and those impacted by the devastating January wildfires in the Los Angeles region. As a gesture of gratitude, the FIFA President announced that the organization would be donating two tickets per first responder for the Club World Cup matches to be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

The Rose Bowl, a renowned venue that has hosted significant events like the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final and the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final, will be one of the host stadiums for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The tournament is set to be a landmark event, featuring 32 teams competing across 12 stadiums in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025.

During the Rose Bowl visit, Infantino revealed that the stadium will host a total of six matches for the Club World Cup. This includes three matches from Group B, which will feature a highly anticipated clash between French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid. Additionally, the Rose Bowl will host three matches from Group E, with Italian club Inter Milan as one of the participating teams.
