The 39-year-old delivered a masterful performance, securing a record 11-shot win and finishing 23 under par. He explained that he had received intense lobbying and considered the existing tariffs unfair. This announcement was positively received by the Irish Whiskey Association, which welcomed the move, emphasizing the importance of Irish whiskey exports to the United States, valued at 450 million euros last year. Mr. Trump specified this tariff removal would apply exclusively to Ireland.Lowry's victory margin surpassed the previous tournament record, established by Bernhard Langer in 1987.
