Asian Cup holders Qatar were left frustrated after drawing 2-2 with a 10-man North Korea in their third round Asian World Cup qualifier played in Vientiane, Laos.

Iran earned a 1-0 win against the United Arab Emirates in the third round of Asian World Cup qualifying.
Mehdi Ghayedi, who currently plays his club football in the UAE with Kalba on loan from Shabab Al Ahli, scored the game's only goal in first half stoppage time.
Ghayedi blocked a clearance from defender Khaled Ibrahim in the Emirati box before finding the near post with a shot two touches later.
The result puts Iran second in Group A, equal with Uzbekistan who also boast a perfect two wins from two, but behind on goals scored.
Paulo Bento's UAE, meanwhile, sit third on three points having beaten two-time reigning Asian Cup winners Qatar in their group opener.
In other matches South Korea sealed a 3-1 win away to Oman.
Also Palestine lost 3-1 to Jordan in the third round of Asian World Cup qualifying.
