IRGC claims gains in latest strike wave
Iran says 80th operation hit regional and U.S. targets
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its Khatam al‑Anbiya Central Headquarters claim to have scored a strategic victory amid ongoing regional exchanges of strikes and threats. Lt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaqari said an enemy’s once‑vaunted power has “turned into a strategic defeat,” rejecting suggestions of a negotiated settlement and ridiculing perceived internal divisions among adversaries.
The IRGC announced it had launched the 80th wave of its retaliatory Operation True Promise 4, carried out by its Aerospace Force in support of Hezbollah operations against Israeli targets and communities in southern Lebanon. The force said it struck strategic points and military centers in the occupied northern territories, including the military command in Safed, and declared the strikes marked the opening of a series of pre‑announced operations.
The statement named multiple targets across the region—northern assembly points, the Gaza belt and central occupied areas such as Tel Aviv, Kiryat Shmona and Bnei Brak—as well as U.S. bases in Kuwait (Ali al‑Salem, Arifjan), Jordan (al‑Azraq) and Bahrain (Sheikh Isa), saying they were hit with precision liquid‑ and solid‑fuel missiles and attack drones.
