Iran threatens strikes if violence in Lebanon and Gaza continues

IRGC warns Israel over civilian attacks

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned the Israeli regime that continued killings of civilians in Lebanon and Palestine will prompt heavy missile and drone strikes on Israeli positions in northern occupied Palestine and the Gaza Strip.

In its 46th statement during Operation True Promise 4, the IRGC accused Israeli forces of committing extensive war crimes and “crossing all red lines” by targeting civilians, and said such actions are intolerable. The statement vowed that gathering places of enemy forces would be struck “without any consideration” if the attacks persist.

The warning comes amid escalatory exchanges after a large-scale campaign by the US and Israel against Iran, launched following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader and several senior commanders and civilians on February 28, which Tehran says involved widespread aerial strikes on military and civilian sites causing heavy casualties and infrastructure damage. Iran’s armed forces have responded with missile and drone operations targeting American and Israeli positions in occupied territories and regional bases.
