UAE's Sharjah Safari park opens its doors to visitors
After seven years in the making, the Sharjah Safari park opens its doors to visitors and animal lovers worldwide over an area of 800-hectares, with more than 50,000 animals from Africa and Europe. Located at the al-Bridi Nature Reserve in Sharjah City, the park hosts 12 themed environments, each representing a region in Africa, where visitors can experience the life and terrain of the animals and birds that inhabit them. "It almost feels like a piece of Africa in Sharjah," says chairperson of the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority Hana Al Suwaidi
The world’s largest Safari Park outside Africa, and home to over 50,000 animals, with herds and flocks of over 120 species, opened to the public in Sharjah.
Visitors can now embark on an African wildlife adventure at the newly-inaugurated Sharjah Safari Park at Al Bridi Nature Reserve in Dhaid area.
Here’s a full list of the ticket rates and what you can expect from each.
The Gold Category prices range from Dhs275 to Dhs3,500 (excluding tax). The trip includes all Sharjah Safari environments with a private guide, with various luxury cars.
The price for the Silver Category ranges from Dhs25 to Dhs120 (excluding tax). Visitors take a bus that takes them on an exciting journey that includes all the environments of Sharjah Safari, except for the Serengeti area.
In contrast, the Bronze Category includes transporting visitors through a walking tour in the “Into Africa” region, with prices ranging from Dhs15 to Dhs40 (excluding tax).
Sharjah Safari opens its doors seven days a week from 8:30pm until 6:30am to take you on an exciting journey. The journey of the gold and silver category owners extends from five to six hours. Those in the Bronze category extend by two to three hours.
